We are looking for qualified professionals to carry out maintenance, overhaul, repair and service work for our German customers (machine and plant manufacturers) in Latin American companies located mainly in: Mexico, Brazil and Colombia.
Your area of competence:

• Maintenance, repair and short-term service measures in fully automated plants.
• Reconstruction, assembly and installation of equipment, machines or plant components on the basis of technical drawings or sketches.
• Damage analysis of defective equipment (parts).
• Repair of equipment by replacement or repair of defective parts.
• Monitoring of equipment in order to detect foreseeable damage at an early stage to prevent breakdowns.
• Preventive maintenance of installations within the framework of scheduled shutdowns (maintenance days).
• Monitoring of plants for compliance with applicable safety standards and legal regulations.

Requirements:

• Full training as industrial mechanical engineer, mechatronics engineer, mechanical engineer with specialisation in mechanics or machine fitter or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years; experience in the areas of competence.
• Experience with machine tools.
• Experience in production plants, especially in maintenance, overhaul, repair, troubleshooting and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Your qualities should include analytical thinking, quick understanding and
  flexibility.
• Knowledge of safety measures and costs.
• Willingness to travel.
• Commitment and willingness to perform, as well as good customer relations are a prerequisite.
• Minimum English level B1.

Field Service Technician for Latin and North America
We are looking for technically experienced specialists who can provide assembly and services such as repairs, maintenance and servicing for our customers (manufacturers of machines and plants) on site in Latin and North America. The areas of operation extend across the entire American continent. Your new place of residence will be Barranquilla or Bogotá in Colombia.

Your tasks:

• Servicing, maintenance and short-term service measures on the fully automated systems
• Fault analysis and troubleshooting
• Plant assembly and commissioning
• Trial and test runs
• Supervisor / construction site management
• Technical support and advice to customers
  Your profile:
• Completed vocational training as a mechatronics engineer/electronics engineer. Further
  training as a technician is desirable, but not a requirement
• Good knowledge of the mechanical and electrical assembly of production systems
• Initial experience in PLC programming and knowledge of using control technology, Siemens
  is an advantage
• Confident handling of common MS Office applications
• minimum English level B1. Other foreign languages are desirable – Spanish and/or
  Portuguese
• High willingness to travel
• Commitment and willingness to perform as well as good dealings with our customers
